Myanmar is in crisis. Millions of people are protesting, being angry at robbing of the country at gun point by military. Police and army are brutally cracking down on own people. Noble laureate Aung San Suu Kyi and hundreds of people are under arrest. Internet is regularly shut down. Almost all government departments are shut due to civil disobedience movement involving majority of work force. Banks are closed. Major businesses are withdrawing or contemplating of withdrawing. People are determined to bring down military government. Soon woodside will likely become target of civil disobedience movement. Company is risking its reputation and also Australia's reputation. On top of that its investments are at risk as Myanmar situation can explode anytime.
