    Separately to the announcement above.

    Even though the SP is down, the strength of the gold price is making it's value to the equity more and more material.

    Whatever the US is doing it appears to hinge on the strength of the $US and ability to run untrammeled borrowings. We see the chinese and Russians buying gold an others becoming more an more nervous.
