    July 14 (Reuters) - Xstate Resources Ltd (XST) :

    • XSTATE ACQUIRES ADDITIONAL CANADIAN PRODUCTION ASSETS
    • ACQUIRES FURTHER 25% WORKING INTEREST IN ALBERTA PLAINS OIL AND GAS FIELDS IN CANADA
    • CONSIDERATION WILL BE PAID AS C$300,000 IN CASH AND REMAINDER C$950,000 IN XST SHARES
    • TERMINATION OF ITS LETTER AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE 25% OF ABC ASSETS IN CANADA, AS ANNOUNCED ON 28 APRIL
