I’m surprised anyone is worried about this - almost no retailers that want to maintain a positive relationship with customers will do this, or if they do, they’ll only pass on a portion like 1% to say match a comparable cc fee. We use BNPL for our company and there is no way we are suddenly going to start slugging customers a fee for it. For context we don’t pass on cc surcharge fee either, so both are offered at no fee.
