News: ZMI Global nickel market surplus at 25,000 tonnes in August - INSG

Oct 24 (Reuters) - The global nickel market surplus rose to 25,000 tonnes in August from 22,600 tonnes in July, data from Lisbon-based International Nickel Study Group (INSG) showed on Monday.

During the first eight months of the year, the global market was in a surplus of 46,900 tonnes compared with a deficit of 157,400 tonnes in the same period of 2021, INSG added.
