Doudou I am not so sure that this level of price movement can be attrubited to an announcement that had nothing to do with AWE. I may be wrong, but the ASX correction announcement came at 1.10 pm, and the stick continued to rise after that to close at 1.73 (Up 6.5% with a volume of 4million).

Can a stock really be driven that high with that volume based on an incorrect announcement that does not mention AWE at all, and that is revoked with 3 hours of trading remaining in the day?

My guess is that if the share price movement was due to this announcement, it would have started heading back to the 1.65 level very soon after the 1.10.

If you are right doudou our market is very inefficient (slow to react) and very dumb (buys stocks based on announcement that mean nothing for the stock) and that in itself presents an opportunity for all of us!
