I've noticed a lot of small caps are in the hands of the bots at the moment. Have a look at the sales of SUR's partner CVN for example. SUR seems to be in this situation too.
My take on things, for what it's worth, is that someone wants to keep the SP down in the low 5's for the time being so that, if there should be a good result from the current drilling, they will be able to start accumulating from a very low base.
I took a small position today hoping for some oil or gas shows in the next week or so. On the down side, I've followed SUR for many years and am confident they will live to fight another day. It doesn't take much for this stock to recover when there is some good news. JIMO of course.
