BRY results where crap...indeed but the structure of teh TH to what happens afterwards is different to the MSR case.
MSR have already some Ounzes with a good scoping Study output to Mine and a mother in mind that will provide a cheap Leach plant(hope so). Burey try to establish a new Prospect, so it is hard to see that you spend money for nothing.
But your are right. Not every TH means good results!
