Listening to senate circus today on a drive to BM and back.
Seems the Govt pulled the rebate rug from under the solar hot water and Solar panel industry summarily .
The domestic solar installation companies are up in arms holding unsalable product they planned on selling all the way the to June 30th.
Why,,, given we are teetering on potential power station closures, would a reasonable govt. cool the heals of solar rebates?
Have the big base load power boys got their way ?
Have the pollies invested in this potentially huge interim potential that involves the final exploitation of lignite ?
A lot of pollie fat got 'burnt' in HRL last decade.
