Investor update = bad news. Companies generally only issue investor updates when the share price is stuffed and they want to try and alleviate investor concerns. Things generally get worse before they get better.
I wonder how many used the current rally to get out. It's funny, every bear mkt rally, without fail, gets all the punters excited thinking (or hoping) that the downtrend is over. A comprehensive study of technical analysis is really the only way to help identify lows and typical bear market rallies. And even then it can still be hard.
