The amount of land that solar would need to replace coal in SA would cover the Atlantic ocean, renewables are greenpeace pipedreams.

The situation here is that there is a general election in 2014, April or May. Zuma will want to make sure he stays in power so there is unlikely anything that rocks the boat eithe socially or business wise until after that.

There will be a lot of noise about Job creation starting after christmas but as always nothing concrete will happen.

This is an economy being run along strategic lines dictated to by faulty logic.
