From my understanding the gas sales agreement is only for the NGLs. (See the recent research report). That's why they want to construct the gas pipeline for the methane sales. I assume they can sell and transport the methane as well at the moment (by truck?) but this would be unlikely to be very profitable. Someone else might know more about this. About 12 months ago the company spoke of a figure of about $150,000 a month in gas sales that needed to be captured from just the one Pathfinder well.
