I think you are missing the big picture. There is an enormous amount of revenue from gas on this acreage. The company has stated that this needs to be sold rather than flared to obtain maximum value. To do this they will need to connect to the interstate gas pipeline about 7 miles away from memory. This is just a small step in what could become a potentially large project. Ultimately they will want to connect the gas from all the wells to the pipeline. All takes time. I'm just drawing from previous announcements. Happy to be corrected.
