re: solar power breakthru During the tech boom, STA was sort of a long shot attractive to the greener investor. I liked it and made some dollars before the company turned to pharmacy info screens, which died, slowly.
Turning walls of glass into thermal shields seemed a grand ideal back then, as is turning those same glass panels into electrical energy.

I do not know too much about the technicallities, but I came across this article, which many of the more informed would have, but which does point out a few of the possible short comings to dyed cells and therefore I offer it up for information.
