Based of the update on 11 april,
sensitivity (patients with cancer that test positive) of the test is 6/9 or 66%
specificity (patients without cancer that test negative) of the test is 68/82 = 83%
compared with mammography which has a sensitivity and specificity of around 80%.
Hence based on Fermiscan's preliminary result, my opinion is that the Fermiscan test seems to be less sensitive and has similar specificity compared to mammography.
