• Exploration progress
Since 31 July, 2007 when Dragon Mountain Gold was listed, exploration activities
have included drilling with up to five drill rigs focused on the Li Ba licence. DMG has
introduced company wide international standard Quality Control and Work Safety
practices which has meant a slower start but drilling progress is now showing a
steady improvement. To date, 3 diamond core and 2 reverse circulation drillholes
have been completed and assay results are starting to be received. DMG expects
to make further announcements over the next few weeks as results from drilling and
other exploration activity are received.
• Community interaction
Dragon Mountain Gold, through its subsidiary Gansu Long Jin Mining Resources Co
Ltd, completely rebuilt the primary school in Gonghe village which is on the
Company’s Li Ba license. The school was officially opened on August 30th and
forms part of DMG’s ongoing commitment to the local communities within which
we work.
In addition DMG has provided access to water supplies, training and work for the
local communities. The Company currently has a workforce of around 100 of which
60 have been employed from the local area.
