"Austin Exploration fell from 36.5 cents to 32.5 cents despite announcing Friday its “Continuous US Drilling Program Strikes Gas Yet Again” all in capitals. And the announcement came during trading hours. We think Austin should get itself some new media advisers because clearly
the company is now starting to have a bit of a credibility problem. Enthusiasm is one thing persistent hyperbole is quite another. The Park City gas field appears to produce from limestone reservoirs which Austin says can be acidised increasing natural open gas flow from 300 to
900% per well. But (a) acidisation doesn’t always work and certainly not to the numbers Austin claims and (b) we don’t know what the initial gas flow rates are that are going to grow so dramatically, Austin doesn’t tell us."
