The highest price UMC has ever reached is $1.645.
No pork-barrelling 20c options like some companies would have awarded. The vesting period means the share price also has to still be up there in 12 months time for them options to be worth anything.
Why would a guy who is 52 take a job where he only makes big money IF he helps the team perform?
===> This is a key indication that the directors are serious about rerating this company's share price.
