Katana.. Why do you say you HAVE to remain a long term holder ? Is it not OK to sell out at a loss? I have read similar comments from other posters also. Are you being held to ransom ? I DONT UNDERSTAND ! Whatever the reason , thats probably what made poor MR Hypo 'hang on'. Proof sadly informed me that he hung himself {mr hypo that is}!.
On the subject of Books ! I've read many , though a lot have been a waste of time. Thanks for YOUR recommendations { I'll check them out} One I liked is Psychology of investing by Colin Nicholson { explains some of the reasoning of above statement} His first book 'The Agressive Investor' was my bible when I first started out. Combines simple FA @ TA , Market analysis and portfolio mngt. Probably more for beginners {say up to 5 years or less}
Read some Leon Wilson , but way too technical for me at this stage. { feel i missed something along the way there }
The one that convinced me on the power of charts was Stan Weinstein's secrets for profiting in bull and bear markets. Nothing technical but very convincing.
Reading a Guppy atm...{chart trading} Just started that one....talks a lot about getting a pie at the footy atm , but I know it will get to some chart stuff soon !
Cheers
