The market is against pharmas, and Solbec is suffering too. I think they've done the right thing by battening down the hatches, conserving cash, and looking for a joint venture partner plus a new product(s). The new chairman seems to be a smart guy, and very well plugged into raising finance etc. Why would he have come on board? Must be something there!
