but why now...

I think JH has found a new JV partner IMO.

BG have brought in via pxa and we needed someone else on board to keep them from aquiring everything.

this puts out a reason for someone else to be involved.

They were hopefully heading down to Mt Kitty for the Helium play anyway and now right next door they have a "study area"..

Dont get me wrong, this is a very likely area for oil from what I have read and investigated. the north east corner of the area has been drilled twice because of its potential. Only once I believe from memory was target depth reached and the sandstones were there and did show promise but no cigar. Given the formations as they currently appear, (as he states) it seems most plausible that the basin has had pressures from both the S.E and S.S.W.


However I do really feel this is a BG hurry up or else or JH has found another sugar daddy.
