SP been bouncing on nicely at about 34 cents. POG been holding around A$2800. Market waiting for next news feed. IMO the the next probable mover of SP will come from a resource estimate from the Cerebus, Eclipse, Centauri drilling program. The initial release came on 19th Feb with the announcement of a 13,300 metre regional drilling program. Updates on 15th April and 1st May (Rainbow and Severn resource based mainly on historical data). Mention of a resource declaration for Cerebus, Eclipse, Centauri by end of Sept Q. But no reporting of any drill results to date from the entire 13,000 metre program, with an extension, or the 25,000 meter RC program scheduled for this FY. Either they have found nothing or they have found a significant resource for this area. Judging on the historical data I'm thinking its the latter which will excite the market. A successful significant resource in this area will probably be the first of many others as the 25,000 metre drilling program unfolds.
So sometime in the next three weeks, with the delivery of the Cerebus, Eclipse, Centauri resource estimate, I'm thinking the SP may be driven to the next level, hopefully around 40 cents. Until then it looks like the POG is robust enough to hold up the SP at 34 cents.
