I was hoping that the wealth of knowledge held by all the great Hotcopper posters/investors would be able to offer some guidance on subscribing to investor newsletters.
I have tended to shy away, seeing them purely as opportunistic advertisement. But I recently came across one newsletter and was somewhat compelled about the logic used behind the selection of their recommendations - of course the price of the subscription was hidden well away, it was, however, not an obnoxious figure.
I am not asking for an advertisement of available newsletters out there, but more a general recommendation based on posters experience (if you have any) of subscribing to these additional sources of information?
