And I understand all too well (as a former business editor) the cliche that ''day trader'' has become, and the misrepresentations associated with the term.
Specifically what I am looking for is an active trader who follows the market closely on a daily basis and trades accordingly.
In terms of short-sellers, I'm as concerned as our regulators about the practice of ''borrowing stock'' and undisclosed positions, and one question I'd like to ask is how active traders usch as those in this forum try and guard against being caught in such pincer movements.
These are volatile times, and in short I'm hoping to speak to a savvy (private) trader who can talk me through the issues and strategies of the moment.

Oh, and Tangrams, I appreciate the research (in fact am quite flattered) but if anyone is interested I can offer far more relevant material than a flippant column about Alan Jones! ;-)
