Looksmart (Nasdaq- LOOK) again got to a $5.00pps mark (overnight) following a "strong" open, when everything up to $4.95cps was "chomped" and some 16,000 shares traded in that 1st quarter of an hour. Impressive!

Half hour after market close I managed to listen to a very "confident" and "relaxed" Dave Hills, CEO of Looksmart, in a broadcast to the market .....The "chief" 'matter of factly' gave an impression, (I felt), that ALL's well at TEAM Looksmart. Early on in the presentation he advised that (in regards to the AdCenter) there were ask.com and 13 other players ....

Half way through the presentation he said, that:

"There are 15 companies using our AdCenter" - HMMmm?

Regarding Advertisers, he told the audience that ....

"When you look at our revenue growth (in the [not broadcasted] 'break-out' period directly following the general broadcast), you will see that Advertisers are coming back to us"

He made a point that "uniques" (regular visitors/users) had grown to 15M in Q3 - 2006 and this was UP from just 4M in Q1 of 2005.

He mentioned that only 15 persons (of LOOK's total 125 people) were required to operate the 181 Verticals and Furl.net. He "streesed" ( and a couple of times), that the business was a highly automated operation and that this (naturally) adds to the profitabilty of the business..
