    Thanks for your post. It echoes the findings of the latest Morgan Poll which also shows a massive surge for Kevin Rudd and for Rudd Labor.

    I've just returned home after 2 months travelling overseas to find people who were venting about the problems under Julia Gillard's leadership to genuine excitement and interest in the manner in which Rudd has picked up the baton.

    People are inspired by visionaries, planners and strategic thinkers. That's what Rudd is saturating the media with and the early signs are that mainstream Australians are once again listening.

    In contrast; Tony Abbott is stuck in the very political sewer he so artfully created these last four long years. The man who ruthlessly attacked his political enemies and saturated our airwaves with insulting, simplistic slogans has nothing but negativity and half-baked, regurgitated Howard era suggestions to offer up.

    In that context Abbott's blatant refusal to publicly debate Rudd looks pathetically spineless and may well lead the public to cast stones his way!
