The Party room elect the leader and if they form Federal Government then their leader becomes P.M. so it doesn't really matter who is the prefered P.M. in the eyes of voters because they don't decide who the winning Party have as their leader. Now I reckon if Phar Lap was in that poll he'd give them both a run for their money (pardon the pun). In the end all Albanese has to do is not be Scott Morrison and win his seat. The fact is who the hell knows if polls actually reflect how people will vote on election day especially as we remember the many poor judgement calls Morrison has made, the level of debt we now have and all his many efforts to diminish the checks and balance that our forefathesr put in place to protect our democracy from those of Morrison's ilk. If Morrison was happy with a since proven ulawful Robodebt scheme, just imagine what an enboldened Morrison could do once he diminishes checks and balances further. Would any reasonable people really believe it's a risk worth taking with his track record?
