Well put tdl, if people are going to go on polls then i would love to see the results of a poll asking people 1. if they knew how much the ETS was going to cost them weekly. 2. did they realise how many people would lose thier jobs. 3. did they know that the big polluters ( china, india, usa) will be doing very little to ease emissions. 4 do they realise this countries sacrafices will do virtually nothing in the big picture . Aussies are pretty lazy when it comes to politics, i cant see how people can really know the facts if they are supporting the govt stance.
