According to todays NEWSPOLL both Morrison and Albanese have a net approval rating of minus11. Seems not much confidence in either of them at a personal level.
Clearly though ALBO's Labor team is far more highly regarded than the Coalition given the latters low primary vote of 35%. The Coalition would need to find 15% in preferences to get to 50% and that is an almost impossible proposition. Labor on the other hand has a better primary vote and will get most of the Greens preferences and leakage from other minor parties and independents.
Unless the Coalition can get to a 40%+ primary vote it will be curtains for them
