No doubt NXG will be pleased to find their market purchased uranium holding appreciate in value but I do not think they are buying it for that reason. BOE took similar action a few years ago, well before they entered production. PEN has been buying spot for a number of years to sell into its long term contracts, rather than mine its own reserves. Uranium consumers (utilities) are paranoiac about security of supply and generally line up about seven years worth, unless they are expecting to shut down or scale back output from their plants.
