They aren't short of cash. Their cash balance has averaged around $24 million at the end of the last three financial years. End first half FY16 their cash balance was still $21.5 million after paying out the FY15 dividends of $9.9 million. From the cash in the bank they are earning less than 3% interest. If they aren't going to do something more useful with that lump of cash I would like a bit more of it in my own pocket.
An extra 2 c on the dividend would only knock it down by $3.3 million.
