    I forgot to mention the Antisense drug that is already in use:

    Vitravene® by Novartis AG

    It was the first antisense antiviral approved by the FDA.

    It is used in the treatment of cytomegalovirus retinitis (CMV) in immunocompromised patients, including those with AIDS.
