The version the army likes is apparently 20% more effective (from memory) than it's closest rival and the design is trademarked so no one else can produce material with the same type of design
It can only be hoped that the manufacturers with the best camouflage design will also want the best FR material
Naturally the pen pushers in Washington may decide that the best CF material although the best, is too expensive
