I may be being a bit thick but what is still confusing me is where are the shares going to come from for a listing if no CR, or are they going to say that x percent of current shares are going to be converted to a US listed share. Another option is the investment bank managing the listing will purchase the shares or have already purchased the shares and will sell those share on listing (not really the behaviour of an investment bank, too much time and therefore risk between purchase and sale, and if you think it is such a sure thing to be able to list above the price you have purchased the shares then why are not more banks, institutions, hedge funds, etc clambering over themselves to be part of the action). But also if no CR where is the cut for the investment bank coming from? they need a chunk of cash for as little risk as possible to pay for services rendered.
