Just one point I have.. The phase 1 trial of ALT1103 will at best prove that the drug is safe and detail its pharmocokinetics, and secondarily hopefully show an effect of lowering the IGF levels.. It then goes on to make the point that the actual efficacy of the drug will need longer. more involved clinical trials.
My take on this seems that most of the excitement generated by this share price rise is waiting on an announcement that, at best, will say this drug is safe and works as expected.. AND now we need to do longer more involved trials to see if it works on human disease..
Would you expect a substantial rerate from this as I would think this means the drug has at least a few years to go before being marketed..?
Don't get me wrong. I have bought in. The technology looks amazing and the other prototypes look equally exciting.. just wondering if the hype might be a bit premature..
