    Dear All,

If one examines PPP's announcements relating to similar progress points (and whilst not adjacent at least in the same country!), NEN's announcement will be out shortly. I would expect about 26 August- believing Friday 23 August is too soon. I accept that with NEN having a shallower TD it might be there is news Friday.

In any event, whether it be Friday, this coming Monday or Next Friday won't affect the outcome of whether there is gas or oil- it will only heighten the anxiety felt by some of the HC members!!!

PPP announced on 17 June in part the following:-

"Origin Energy (Song Hong) Pte Limited (“Origin”), the operator of the Block 121 Production Sharing Contract, have advised that the semi-submersible drilling rig the “Ocean General” spudded the Ca Voi-1X exploration well (“121-CV-1X”) on Saturday 15th June. The well is being drilled in a water depth of 270m, with a planned total measured depth of approximately 3771m BRT (below rotary table). As at 06:00 hours on 16th June the well was at 342 m BRT."

PPP's next announcement was then made 28 June that included:-

"Origin Energy (Song Hong) Pte Limited (“Origin”), the operator of the Block 121 Production Sharing Contract, offshore Vietnam, have reported that at 0600 hours on 28th June, the Ca Voi-1X (“121-CV-1X”) exploration well currently being drilled by the “Ocean General” drilling rig, was at a measured depth of 1571m BRT (below rotary table) and had set the 13 3/8” casing. The well which is being drilled in a water depth of 270m was spudded on 15th June, and has a planned total measured depth of approximately 3771m BRT."

By announcement dated 12 August, Block 105 was spudded on 11 August 2013:-

"Neon Energy Limited (ASX: NEN) is pleased to announce that the Cua Lo-1 exploration well, located in Block 105-110/04 (“Block 105”) offshore Vietnam, was spudded on 11 August 2013. The well is designed to test the large Cua Lo gas prospect, which comprises five clastic reservoir targets ranging in age from Lower Pliocene to Upper Miocene. The well is being drilled by the Ensco 107 jackup rig in a water depth of 76 metres, to a planned Total Depth of 2,826 metres."
