IMO I think there is something very strange going on here, I wouldnt be suprised if there was a takeover - or someone botting down the SP and then ramping back up.
KAR is IMO in an EXTREMLY good place atm for a take over, they have gas... and the results were good, I think people are starting to wakeup, the buyer / sell ratio appears to be slowly balancing out - no way i am selling anytime soon. Whats the worst that can happen? wait 2months for a possible JV... relax people.
