If there is a contract to be signed it would only relate to how the database of members can be used and any rebates or discounts the members receive.
This won't be a revenue based contract if any contract is signed at all. If you don't mind me asking what did you make of the announcement as I'll be honest I don't see the point you are making as it is an association so has no revenue benefit from simply aligning with them.
It needs the members of the association to now take up what ever deal was struck. Each member would be independent of another so while aligning with an associate is good it doesn't garentee anything.
