The shipping limitations as such are all related to the Geraldton port itself, 60000t is the max they can get in and out in one shipment due the reasons Azzies mentioned above.
Other ports have bigger or smaller capacities depending on their size and infrastructure. For example, I believe Esperance can fit ships that take 120000t.
IMO, I hope if FEX make acquisitions moving forward, we could look at other areas with bigger ports, smaller haulage distances, potentially train lines, but I’m sure management is looking, and when the right opportunity comes along they will pounce
