I didn't have an application rate. I will go with yours.
6.36km2 is 1000m x 1000m (1km2) x 6.36 which equals 6.36 million square metres. (you used 6360m x 6360m which is actually 39.69km2).
If they do the entire lake at your application rate it would be around 4000 tonnes. However, the lake is conveniently divided into 5 separate areas. I only glance through the link so I didn't get any feel for how, if or when they might proceed.
