these apple stores are an excellent way to get people familiar with the apple product and are essentially "how to use" workshops as much as sales outlets. there will be so many more potential customers generated for next byte than taken away by virtue of the fact that there will be a forum to try before you buy.

most people who walk into an apple store walk out without a purchase, but impressed with the p roduct. next byte will benefit from this increased general awareness and consumers readiness to swap from windows.

in short, it will grow the pie by increasing custiomer acceptance and market penetration by apple.

PE 5 times earnings. you get the phone business (12M in earnings) for free. even if the fone zone earnings halved, you are still getting a ripper of a deal.

this stock is at least 50-60cent in value. the real issue is management crdibility. 2 profit downgrades in 12 months for various reasons leaves the market feeling less than assured about the team's grip on business drivers. i think the latest result will provide some comfort.
