A mining operation that ended over 40 years ago (because it wasn't economical to continue) just proves my point. But let me be more specific - there isn't a single company on the planet that has opened a mine in the last 20 years that economically extracted anything (let alone uranium) from a low grade radioactive polymetallic deposit. Why? because the environmental requirements are 1000x higher than they were in the 60s when those deposits were first mined.
