Mitsubishi have carried out an extensive due diligence (At no cost to CNQ) and the board of Mitsubishi has approved the $15 Mil USA cash advance. Being a phased reopening of the mine.
CNQ Management decided to look for "Full Funding".
Why CNQ did not proceed with a world class company like Mitsubishi recommendation is a good question for the AGM.
Note if CNQ had of proceeded with Mitsubishi's recommendation CNQ would have been a producer in early 2015.
