Wheeler and dealer Peter Neil Landau has been sentenced before the Supreme Court of Western Australia for multiple offences during his time with Continental Coal and ex-oil and gas explorer Citation Resources.Landau pleaded guilty to a string of offences including stealing A$2.2 million as a Citation director, forging bank statements, giving false information to the Australian Securities Exchange by hiding the fact Continental's income-generating asset had gone into administration, and claiming Continental had raised $2.6 million from investors when it had only received just $57,000.Justice Joesph McGrath sentenced the 50-year-old Claremont-based businessman to five years and two months' imprisonment with a non-parole period of three years and two months for the stealing and forgery.Once he has served the minimum, he must then serve at least six months of a 12-month custodial sentence for two breaches of the Corporations Act.
