I thought I would open some dialogue in regards to what the potential is for Lac Rainy Graphite drilling program starting within weeks if the company's words are to be true.

"Lac Rainy Graphite Project where we will commence drilling within the next three weeks. " dated 14th Feb

    Focus Graphite Lac Knife project.

Focus Graphite Inc. holds 100% ownership of the Lac Knife crystalline flake graphite deposit located in the Côte Nord region of Québec. At approximately 15% graphitic carbon, Lac Knife is one of the highest-grade flake graphite deposits in the world.

A positive Feasibility Study, prepared by Met-Chem Canada Inc., released on August 8, 2014, indicates that Lac Knife has the potential to become one of the lowest-cost, highest-margin producers of graphite in the world at $441 per tonne of graphite concentrate.

Lac Knife Project is viable economically with a Base Case scenario that includes a concentrator production line rate of 44,300 tonnes of concentrate annually at an average mill feed rate of 323,670 tonnes per year of Mineral Reserves over a 25-year mine life.

    Current graphite prices US$/tonne (94-97%C)

    XL flake $1,750/t (+50 mesh)
    Large flake 1,150/t (+80 mesh)
    Medium flake $950/t (+100 to -80 mesh)
    Small flake $700/t (-100 mesh)

Up to 53.7% Cg Graphite in Samples at the Lac Rainy Graphite Project

    Highlights:

    • High grade natural flake graphite confirmed at the Lac Rainy Graphite Project, in Quebec (Canada)

    • Exceptionally high grade results in surface samples include:
    o 53.7% Cg in Sample 123675 o 31.9% Cg in Sample 123702 o 27.1% Cg in Sample 123701 o 19.0% Cg in Sample 123666 o 18.4% Cg in Sample 123672 o 16.6% Cg in Sample 123670 o 16.2% Cg in Sample 123674

    • Phase I exploration reveals high grade samples that cover a strike length of approximately 2.0 km and remains open along strike to the north-west

    • Phase II exploration program consisting of additional surface sampling and channel sampling to be completed shortly as a precursor to maiden diamond drilling

    • Mini-bulk sampling for metallurgical and characterisation test work to be completed shortly in September 2017 to determine flake size and suitability for the battery market

    • The Lac Rainy Project is located adjacent to Focus Graphite’s Lac Knife Property which hosts the Lac Knife Graphite Deposit – Measured and Indicated Resource of 9.6 Mt @ 14.77% Cg and an Inferred Resource of 3.1 Mt @ 13.25% Cg

      1. The Lac Rainy Graphite Project covers an area of 4,450 hectares representing 86 mineral claims and is contiguous with Focus Graphite’s Property to the southwest, which hosts the Lac Knife Graphite Deposit.
      • Metallurgical testwork and mineralogical characterisation completed on two 60 kg composite samples of graphite mineralisation from the Lac Rainy Graphite Project

      •   Tests completed included chemical and mineralogical feed characterisation and flotation testing

      •   Results indicate that Lac Rainy graphite mineralisation has the potential of producing a commercial graphite concentrate
o High sample head grades of 35.1% and 21.7% graphitic carbon (Cg)o High open circuit graphite recovery up to 91.0% using standard mineral processing

      technologies

o Very good combined concentrate grades of up to 96.7% total carbon (Ct), exceeding typical cut-off grades for commercial grade graphite concentrates of 95% Ct

A lot of rehashed info just to remind those that have been around and inform some new comers as to the potential of this first round of diamond core drilling about to start at Lac Rainy.

There is s lot to be excited about. Cashed up with good ground around us.
