Following on from Excess's comments, I'd love to know how any of you with connections to Early Childhood professionals see the sector outlook. Nothing like some first hand, Peter Lynch style observations. If you - or, more likely, a family member or friend is working in the sector, how do they see the next year or two? Are enrolments picking up, flat, or softening due to economic pressures, more work from home and teacher shortages? Will government funding for a 15% wage increase help the later? My wife's an ECE teacher, but we're Kiwis based in Auckland... Certainly the pay rates are far far better in Australia! Thank you for your thoughts
