Thanks Leto3, if you know the area just South of Arthur River there is a large sign stating Mobiles wont work passed this point but the CDMA still had service several miles past there.
In the days of analogue I had a 3 watt bag phone that never seemed to be out of service, I guess the Telcos make more money out of people downloading & sending pics etc than just phone calls.
