What if I've had the stock for over a year and am sitting on a $20,000.00 profit, but I do not want to sell at this point.
Do I have to declare this as a profit to the ATO, same goes for if I was sitting on a loss but hadn't sold?
In advance sorry for the dumb question, but I'm not very bright.
