I thought the same however I have found them useful in providing investment ideas to follow up on. I.e. DYOR rather than rely solely on their research.
They gave me MNB early enough for me to make a lot of money on it. They gave me VUL which I thought looked like a great investment at $1 but regrettably I thought it best to wait for a correction after big gains.
