You are right about your last sentence.
This iron ore thing has a long way to play out. I just hope FMS can work their way through the maze. They have to work out a way to sell their ore on board ship. The profits are huge but so is the inferstructure. FMS is sitting in the middle of FMG territory. At a Canary event Big Kev said he preferred to do business with RIO rather than FMG. You still have the unloading, stacking, reclaiming and ship loader problem. FMS will always be small time thats why my thought re a mining operation that FMG could share at our end and we could share their infrastructure at the other end. It could be done to their standards so our ore and theirs could mix. It's just a management problem. The weight and grade would be measured before it goes onto the train. The infrastructure at the mine site is more complex than most understand. It's just a thought and I am sure Worley Parsons are talking to everyone to work out a workable arrangement. Farm gate sales is giving most of the profit away. Sharing mine site would make it a bigger operation and FMG would get bigger throughput with only losing a little at the port and on rail.
I think the thought is RIO, FMG or sharing with other juniors. I can't see a deal with BHPBIO. If they do a deal with other juniors the direction could be Cape Lambert. I think there is a proposed line going that way.
